Life with Lucky is full of love and affection! He is a happy boy from the moment he wakes up to the morning and when Dr. Da Fonseca goes over to visit him from work in the evening. Proof of this is the day in which Lucky copied Dr. Da Fonseca’s nieces after seeing them welcome the doctor with a big hug when she came home from work, her nieces came to give her a big hug and Lucky copied them and did the same thing! Pets sure do seem to acquire the personality traits of their owners. There’s nothing he loves more than being by his family’s side, from taking long walks together to just hanging out watching tv together.
To celebrate having Lucky as part of the family, they plan on buying some of his favorite treats --salmon cakes! Then take him for a nice long hike. Though every day is a day to be celebrated with Lucky around.
If you are considering introducing a dog into your family Dr. Da Fonseca has a few suggestions for you to consider. It’s important to make sure you have time available because dogs need attention too just like any other kid so don't take on the responsibility of a dog if you're not willing to devote some time to them.
Though she highly recommends adding a dog into your life, once you have a great pet life is never the same! You don't feel alone anymore as you have a new constant companion. Dogs help you stay active and give you a reason to be out and about on the weekends exploring. Most importantly, dogs just make life better and love you unconditionally.
